MASKS

If you’re not vaccinated, you must wear a mask when indoors in public places.

If you’re vaccinated, CDPH recommends wearing a mask indoors when the risk may be high.

Learn more about when to wear a mask. Find complete details about mask requirements in the CDPH Guidance for the Use of Face Masks.

CDPH recommends wearing a mask with a good fit and filtration. This includes surgical masks and respirators like N95s, KN95s, and KF94s. Learn how to get the best fit and filtration from your mask.
